Thursday, March 15, 2018. I finally got the binding finished on this log cabin quilt I made for my chair in the den. Muddling gave me that chair for a birthday present. I had the bright idea that one of those rubber mats you put beneath a rug to keep it from slipping would probably work to keep the quilt from sliding around on this faux leather chair. So far it is working quite well! And this is the reason I needed a quilt to cover that chair. Cats! There is such a sense of anticipation.

Not a lot going on here. Made a couple of doll dresses. Here is a video of our CHRISTmas house. Lots of pictures 2017 CHRISTmas. Tractor gift from son and his family. They bought it and the nativity in Poland. Cloth garland made by our oldest daughter when she was in grade school.
Most of my design work this weekend was at the frame. I wanted to try out some curved cross hatching in this quilt. I decided to surround it with feathers to fill in the space. I like the curved crosshatch but am less thrilled with my feathers. I will not rip them out. This is taking quite a while but I think it will be worth it in the end. Linking up with Patchwork Times.
